At Bengtson’s Farm, we are committed to making our attractions enjoyable and accessible for all guests. To better serve individuals with permanent physical or mental disabilities, we offer a Ride Accessibility Program in partnership with IBCCES (International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards).
Accessibility at Bengtson's Farm
What Is an IBcces accessibility card (IAC)?
To participate in Bengtson’s Ride Accessibility Program, guests must have a valid IBCCES Accessibility Card (IAC).
Please note: Only IBCCES can issue the Accessibility Card — not Bengtson’s Farm.
Guests can apply for their card by visiting www.accessibilitycard.org
Through the secure online portal, applicants will submit the required documentation and, once approved, receive their digital IAC.
The IBCCES team independently reviews and verifies all applications. Any misuse or fraudulent use of the card will result in removal from the farm.
Note: The IBCCES Accessibility Card may also be used at other participating locations that recognize the IBCCES program.
How Does the Ride Accessibility Program Work?
-
Upon arrival, guests with a valid IBCCES Accessibility Card must check in with a manager at the front office to verify their card and receive their ride accessibility pass.
-
To speed up the process, please have your card filled out and ready before your visit. You can apply by visiting their website: www.accessibilitycard.org
-
This program allows the cardholder and one (1) accompanying guest (two total) to board rides through the exit gate or another designated accessible entrance.
-
The cardholder must ride in order for the accompanying guest to enter through the accessible entrance.
-
All ride rules, height, and medical restrictions still apply.
-
Ride operators are not permitted or trained to provide physical assistance. Accompanying guests should be prepared to assist if needed.
-
Both the cardholder and accompanying guest must have valid ride passes or tickets.
-
Guests will be required to wait a designated period before returning to re-ride an attraction, as indicated on their boarding pass.
