Thank you for your interest in booking a field trip to Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm. We have been offering fun and exciting field trips since 1981!
The charge is $9.99* per child. Your group must come in all together and be paid for at one time, in order to receive the package rate, and you must check in at the front gate - all at once. The child's admission includes: the fun and exciting Pig Races (running 10x daily), the adorable Petting & Feeding ZOO, the animated Haunted Barn, N E W Playground, N E W Mega Fun Slide, N E W Vortex Straw Tunnel, Halloween displays, Adorable animation throughout the farm, Animated Fun Barn, a Tractor-Pulled Hayrack Ride, Pumpkin Chucker, Milking Cows (simulated), 3 Acre Giant Crazy Corn Maizey, entrance to the Halloween shop and the viewing of the baby farm animals and fun throughout the FARM!

NEW FOR 2011...Free Unlimited Kiddie Rides* (Train, Frog Hopper, Flying Frogs and Honey Pots) with paid admission. (*Excludes Pony Rides and school group packages.) Available Monday thru Friday excluding Columbus Day (10/10/11). Free Unlimited Kiddie Rides as noted above available October 3rd-7th, October 11th-14th,
October 17th-21st, October 24th - 28th, 2011.

No deposit needed, but please cancel if you decide not to come to the farm. We require (1) one chaperone for every (4) four children. Chaperones will be admitted at $8.00* each. . There is NO CHARGE FOR LEADERS (there is a maximum of 2 leaders per pack/troop). The "group" must come in all together and be paid for at one time, in order to receive the package rate. We ask that Leaders show their troop ID cards at the time of check-in. We require a minimum reservation of 7 children to receive the package scout rate. The scout rate is available on weekdays only (after 12pm, or after school or early evening) excluding Monday, Columbus Day (10/10/11) . Sorry, coupons may not be used with this special rate, and must be PRE-BOOKED 7 Days before the arrival date. Your admission does not include a pumpkin. Assorted Pumpkins sold at $.29 per pound, and specialty pumpkins sold at $.50 per pound. Pony Rides are purchased at the pony area near the petting zoo for $5 each ride and there is a weight limit on pony rides.(Pony Rides not included with Free Ride package)

The field trip is at your own pace, (we do not have mandatory tours or guides) and our farm is paved, except for the hayrack ride area. The last pig race is at 7:30 pm and the last hayride leaves (but will not stop in the field, due to the last round) at 7:45pm, the Farm closes and lights turn off at 8pm due to city ordinance.

We are open rain or shine, the rides, pig races and the hayrack rides will only stop due to violent or dangerous weather. Please dress your children appropriately to assure they have a great time. We do have sheltered picnic area for your use. If you would like to plan to have a snack or dinner we have many food items available for sale such as; hot dogs, chili, kettle corn, soda, chips, bottled water, caramel apples, nachos and cheese, funnel cakes, hot chocolate and more!
